In the Pink

“In the pink” means in good health, and it is also literally what happens when you tape a magenta gel over a light. Exposure 08 takes the second meaning seriously: everything was photographed under one gelled key with no correction in post, and the garments were dyed to match what the camera saw. The hard part was not the styling. It was finding a magenta that does not drift to salmon after a dozen washes — which is why every piece here is fibre-reactive dyed rather than pigment-bound.
